Grant Martin

Distinguished Engineer at Cadence Design Systems
Grant Martin Grant Martin is a Distinguished Engineer in the Tensilica R&D group of Cadence Design Systems. Prior to the Cadence acquisition of Tensilica in April 2013, Grant was a Chief Scientist at Tensilica, Inc. in Santa Clara, California for 9 years. Grant is a co-author or co-editor of ten books dealing with SoC design, SystemC, UML, modelling, EDA for integrated circuits and system-level design. He was co-chair of the DAC Technical Programme Committee for Methods for 2005 and 2006. His particular areas of interest include system-level design, IP-based design of system-on-chip, platform-based design, baseband processing, application-specific instruction set processors, and embedded software. He is a co-editor of the Springer series on embedded systems. Grant is a Senior Member of the IEEE.

Boyd Fowler

Boyd Fowler Boyd Fowler is Vice President at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. since December 2015 . He was previously a Technical Program Manager at Google from September 2013 till December 2015, Technical Director at BAE Systems, and CTO at Fairchild Imaging. He was founder and VP of Engineering Pixel Devices International. Boyd Fowler holds a PhD degree and master degree from Stanford University, California. Expert in low noise CMOS image sensors, he has developed, among various achievements, the sCMOS image sensor technology, active reset, several image sensor simulators, test methodology and tools. He is the author of numerous papers, book chapters and patents. He has also served on the ISSCC technical committee and presently serves on two technical committees for Electronic Imaging and one technical committee for the Optical Society of America.

Serge PalaricSerge Palaric joined NVIDIA in 2004 after 20 years working in the IT at different position for OEMs as Dell, Packard Bell and NEC but also software companies at European level. Focused on system design wins and key global accounts management; He is in charge of embedded business at NVIDIA covering Europe with a focus on IVA and Autonomous machines where Deep Learning, AI & parallel computing are key leading technologies
